Kindergarten to Year 6

All students will wear the school uniform. Students are expected to wear the correct uniform to school each day. It should be clean, neat and pressed. Uniforms are distributed once enrolment is finalised and consists of :

Pre-Kindergarten

Suitable Clothing – Tracksuits, t-shirts, shorts, pants. Because of our Sun Smart Policy tops must have sleeves; no strapless, sleeveless tops or dresses, no singlets. Protective clothing is provided as the children will be involved in using a variety of craft materials and outdoor play and garden activities may include water and soil.

Please send an extra set of clothes in your child’s bag in case of emergencies (toileting, water, sand, mud, food).

FOOTWEAR

All class groups

Shoes should be closed both back and front with a non-slip sole eg: sneakers, school sandals. This is to ensure the safety of the children when moving about the playground/classroom/playroom and when they are playing outside. Shoes that enclose the child’s feet assist the child’s balance and movement.

JEWELLERY

Jewellery should not be worn as it can present a safety hazard and/or become lost or damaged during the child’s activities. Those children with earrings are asked to wear only studs to prevent any mishaps in the playground.

LOST PROPERTY

Lost items will be collected and kept in a central place for collection by parents and students (please contact Reception for details). We ask parents to ensure that all items are clearly marked. Unnamed uniform items that are still unclaimed will be washed and placed in the second-hand uniform store for recycling at the end of each term. Misplaced items that are inappropriate and cannot be returned to students will be delivered to the Principal who will contact parents to collect. Any unclaimed items at the end of term will be donated as appropriate.
