Sunshine Academy focuses on developing the character of children through the integration of human values throughout the school curriculum as we believe that the end product of education is character, the most valuable asset a person can have. Values cannot be taught. They can only be caught. Through our approach to values-based education, inculcating the 5 human values and 5 global values through a journey of discovery, supported by mindful and intelligent teachers, children will develop a support system of human values that they can fall back on to navigate life with a well-developed inner compass.

To provide a cohesive, values-based education for children and to work holistically with staff and families/carers to create a nurturing environment which will enable students to grow to their full potential.

The purpose of education should not revolve around the acquisition of a pre-determined set of skills, but rather the realisation of one’s full potential and the ability to use those skills for the greater good of society. Aristotle said, ‘Educating the mind, without educating the heart, is no education at all.’

While providing a nurturing and creative environment for learning is the role of the teachers, the active involvement of parents/guardians and family members in the values education curriculum of their children is essential. This will consolidate and ensure a proper understanding of those human values in their children.

To Him, we owe the five global values of Love of Country, Spirit of Oneness, Spirit of Service, Environmental Responsibility, and Awareness of Self (body, mind and heart). Walking in the footsteps of his Guru, Sri Madhusudan Sai has established various humanitarian service projects across 33 Countries. Since 2011, he has established 27 values-based educational campuses in South India and 5,000 rural children have been empowered with values-based integral education, absolutely free of cost.
